Today’s Bible reading is Revelation chapter 5

John saw in heaven the Lamb of God. The Lamb had seven horns and seven eyes. Seven is the number of perfection. The seven horns represent the perfect power of God. The Lamb of God is worthy to open the scroll because He is all-powerful. The seven eyes represent the perfect knowledge of the Lamb of God. He is worthy to open heaven’s scroll because He is all-knowing. The Lamb of God is also worthy because His Spirit is sent out into every part of the earth. The Lamb is all-present. Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God is the omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent God who is worthy to open the scroll. The scroll represents everything the Father has promised to the Son. Jesus has all authority and is worthy of our worship. Bless the Lamb of God who is all powerful, all knowing, and ever present. He is worthy. Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty!
Prayer: “Oh Lamb of God, we worship You. You are perfect in power and knowledge and worthy to be praised.”
