“Meet our Evangelist”

Evangelist Randy J. McPheron was born in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1967 but grew up near Mt. Vernon, Ky. Randy married his high school sweetheart Lisa Tabor McPheron November 26, 1984. Randy and Lisa have three children; Brittany, Beki, and Jake.
Randy made a profession of faith in Jesus Christ as a youth and surrendered to the Gospel Ministry at age seventeen. He began the pastorate at nineteen and served as a Southern Baptist pastor for twenty-two years. In June 2007 Randy became Founder and Field Evangelist for Touch of Hope Evangelistic Ministries and on March 16, 2009 he entered full time evangelism. In August 2009 Randy accepted a part time position as Director of Missions for the Rockcastle Association of Kentucky Baptists in addition to continuing in evangelism.
He was licensed to the ministry in 1987, and ordained in 1988 by the Freedom Baptist Church Mt. Vernon, Ky. Randy McPheron is a graduate of Clear Creek Baptist Bible College in Pineville, Kentucky (bachelor of arts in biblical studies), and also attended The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.
Brother Randy’s pastoral ministry includes Bethel Baptist Church in Berea, Ky. Immanuel Baptist Church in Danville, Ky. and West Corbin Baptist Church in Corbin, Ky. as well as two other churches which were student pastorates during Bible college. He also assisted a new church start for almost two years and currently is serving as Pastor of the Northside Baptist Church in Mt. Vernon, Ky.
Randy McPheron’s ministry in evangelism and missions includes Revivals, Conferences, and Crusades in 12 states, as well as Brazil, South America, Botswana, Africa, Alaska, and two crusades in Iloilo, Philippines.
